What if someone has a slicktop N/A that already has 10k into it. If they wanted to sell it they wouldn't get as much as they paid for their mods, but they are still good. Then they would likely have to buy a stock TT and RE-DO everything they had already done to their slicktop. Besides the less aggressive stock rear diff on the TT. Besides the stereo work and the interior. Besides the thousands of dollars spent to do the maintenace and replace countless parts. Plus having to trade in a Z you are attatched to for one that is a whole nother pile of problems maybe (Z's tend to have gremlins). Plus the lighter curb weight on an N/A, and not having to mess with HICAS. Plus the increased rigidity of the chassis due to being a slicktop. Finally, you have no proof that a S/C N/A with all of the same mods as "X" TT would be any slower. So I say forget the A/C.
Most people get pissed when something on their Z breaks...I see it as an opportunity to upgrade! ~ZEN 1990 Slicktop Stage IV+++ |
